Scrapbox is an incremental game which combines the exponential progression expected of the genre, with the detailed factory planning of a game like Factorio.

Stranded on an island of landfill in the middle of the ocean, there's nothing to do but dig. Amass larger and larger piles of scrap, which you will be able to use to craft a variety of machinery - extractors to do your work for you, sifters to extract specific resources from sufficiently large piles of scrap, and combiners to craft items from the scrap you've amassed - all of which you can use to improve your scrap-gathering capabilities. Slowly but surely, the island will become home to a massive factory, with the sole purpose of producing more and more scrap.

And when you've got enough of it? You can prestige, starting all over again, choosing from a variety of alternate maps and new upgrades, in order to reach new heights of scrap.

------

The current version of Scrapbox is simply a demo, with only a few hours' worth of content to play through, petering out after a few prestiges. That said, I've got many ideas for how to further expand the game, so if you've enjoyed it, please leave a comment and a review so I can know to work further on it!

I feel like it has a lot of potential. But it needs a lot more polish. The UI is not good, and fights you all the time. The progress is not very elegant. The combination of the tight map, how unlocks invalidate previous set-ups, and the UI being against you constantly, it's rather punishing.
Devs should playtest for themselves a few times before publishing.

That said, I still spent a good while on it and I feel like if it was a bit more polished it would be great.
